Honda is one of the world’s greatest car company with a long tradition in creative design. Due to the fact that Honda is a powerful presence on the international car market, it has a very strong and provocative environmental responsibility communication with its consumers.
Honda Trading Romania wanted to bring into the public attention a green way to drive, a much more environmental friendly way, as a response to the aggressive manner of driving very popular these days. Thus we developed a national competition to highlight the ecological driving, having an educational approach as well as an entertaining one. At its first edition, GreenChallenge managed to gather over 3,000 competitors. This proved to be a sound basis for the second edition of the competition.
The client wanted an online platform that could gather the eco drivers’ community from Romania to encourage a more efficient and fun way of driving. We prepared a campaign that had multiple components, ranging from radio, print to a strong presence in the online.
The online platform for GreenChallenge was developed in order to be aligned to the Honda international trends, defining it as one of the brands closest to the green drivers community. Infinit Solutions has expanded the green concept by building a fresh identity of the website, and the same time by creating a perfect interplay between clients and brand.
Therefore, one of the main testing for accessing to final was the online driving competition in the virtual environment by browsing www.greenchallenge.ro. Infinit Solutions has implemented a complex online game through which all participants tested their skills and competed various stages to prove their abilities.
In terms of results, it was a real success: more than 60 000 visitors on the website, 8791 competitors and at the end of the campaign, in the weekend of the grand finale there were more than 1500 people at the Asko Showroom to view ASIMO’s performances.
